jamilyn and brad
|
| i'm not going to try and muffle with words today - especially when it comes to blogging jamilyn. i've really enjoyed working with her because she gets things done - knows what she wants - and she knows how to have fun.
so first clip is of jamilyn's 5 am prep session at the arizona grand resort in phoenix (yes 5 am). she pulled it off like no one else could. |
| second clip is a nice little ceremony clip at the villa sienna. |
| enjoi. |

subir - la pelicula
|
| first off apologies to those who have been trying to get a hold of me. i thought i had changed my voice mail but after digging through an hours worth of voice mail it appears that wasn't the case! so - sorry . . .
i spent the last week out of the country shooting a documentary in the central america country of honduras - which is where i served my mission two years ago. tyler bastian and trevor hill asked me to shoot footage for their upcoming documentary Subir La Pelicula. i'll try and get some photos up from the trip/shoot - honduras is an amazingly diverse third world country - very easy on the lens. in the meantime here are a few clips from the primary subject in the doc - augustine. enjoi. |

new ROC site
|
| the new Reflections of Christ site is up and is full of imagery - music - and most importantly (blatant self promotion) video. lots of it. mark is also making his prints available for sale as well on the new site which will be an answer to many of your emails regarding the imagery from the project. check it. |

good times in the dark
|
| wedding receptions are not the most creative-friendly environments on the face of the planet. they are dark - crowded - and dark. that is a lot of negativity coming from someone who shoots plenty of receptions - and even worse coming from someone who makes living shooting them. it is just tough to make an image look fantastic when you don't have control of much that is going on (true documentary style) . . . which is why i don't often post reception footage unless someone is getting down on the dance floor and has to be blogged. the have a little more personal appeal to them so I am also sensitive to the subject matter as well. all this useless banter comes from a random email i received (again) saying " hey why don't you ever post reception footage?" so to appease the random email i've posted this video of craig and kristins reception here in arizona.
truth be told i've filmed some of the funniest moments ever at receptions - people jumping into pools - tripping over things - throwing boquets off the balcony into a parking lot. i should probably be better about posting those! enjoi. |
